"Dancing soul, a Ceramic of Memory"

The artist uses ceramics here as an offering. She creates ritual objects that carry a symbolic charge. The forms and reliefs, modelled and applied by hand, and the expanded glazes reveal an almost archaic sensibility and a deliberate embrace of imperfection. Figures are reduced to archetypes, animals and vegetal forms resemble totems or talismans. From this "dance of the soul" seem to emerge the traces of an intimate mythology and the memory of stories buried in childhood.
